about us

We are you-focused.

Being a fiduciary and fee-only Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) firm means that we serve you with the highest level of care.

We serve you by providing bespoke and diligent financial advice, and we align our interests with you by never accepting commissions or incentive payments of any kind.

Our financial expertise is only matched by our loyalty to you.

Advice that is aligned with you.

Being 'fee-only' means that we only get paid by you - not by mutual fund or insurance companies.

Why is being fee-only important?

Because you know that our advice is not influenced by companies that are willing to pay us commissions to sell financial products to you (which is, unfortunately, a very common problem in our industry).

The best advice for your life.

As a fiduciary, we are required to put your interests first by providing the best advice for your particular needs.

Doesn't every financial advisor put your needs first?

Unfortunately not. Only Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firms are fiduciaries that are required to do so by law. We are proud to be an RIA firm.

Certified financial planning.

CFP® certification is the gold standard for financial planners.

We are proud to be among the true financial planners who carry the CFP® designation.

Not only does the CFP® designation imply a level of expertise in financial planning, it lets you know that the planner abides by the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct.

Ryan Kaysen, CFP® & Founder

I can be considered a Ryan-of-many-trades.

I have worked with institutions as well as individuals to help build success through different paths.

While I have a long educational background, with my MBA in Financial Planning and CFP®, the best education I have received was through my own trial and error with my exposure to different financial situations.

I was able to pay off my student loans at a young age by teaching myself organized budgeting techniques. I learned how to save and buy a house on my own and sell it for a profit. I participated in real estate investing by renting and flipping a property. I scaled the corporate ranks before working for my father’s small business. There, I learned how to manage the finances of a small business and manage a defined contribution plan as well as set up other employee benefits packages. Now I am working to help my father with an exit plan so he can enjoy a comfortable retirement.

All of this added up to give me the confidence to start my own firm to share my knowledge, experience, and passion so that my clients can find a path to financial freedom.

If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.
— Benjamin Franklin
